The Health and Safety Authority is running a series of regional morning seminars in June, to highlight the importance of managing vehicle related risk in the workplace. The morning seminars will be run in Cork, Dublin and Athlone.
Every year, people are killed and seriously injured by accidents involving vehicles in the workplace.
On average this represents 41 per cent of all work related deaths reported to the Health and Safety Authority each year.
The Transport Safety seminars are free of charge but due to a limited number of spaces attendees are asked to pre-register for this event. Early booking is essential.
